num·ber
–noun
1. a numeral or group of numerals.
2. the sum, total, count, or aggregate of a collection of units, or the like: A number of people were hurt in the accident. The number of homeless children in the city has risen alarmingly.
3. a word or symbol, or a combination of words or symbols, used in counting or in noting a total.
4. the particular numeral assigned to an object so as to designate its place in a series: house number; license number.
5. one of a series of things distinguished by or marked with numerals.

i like to decorate with numbers in my house.... the old gasoline numbers i've found inexpensively at antique sales. november 2010 issue of better homes and garden magazine home -style made simple showcases petrol numbers for $130... i know you can find them at your local antique sale for under $12.

some of my numbers have meaning behind them... like 557 was my old address to my first home i bought and  7, 3, 0 is my anniversary date.

anyone else decorate with numbers?

  1. See, I just don't know if I understand the rule about numbers and letters in your house... Is there a rule about using them too much or too many in the same room? I love letters and signs and sayings and things... in the way that you love numbers. But how much is too much?
